In this morning’s mailbox (tips@eastnashville.news or here) – a quick post that reminds us that ride-share services, such as Lyft & Uber, can be both blessings and a curse. Uber driver Braxton Churchwell claims to have received a ping to downtown, which he was six miles from. Upon arrival to their Broadway location, he allegedly finds this is part of his bachelorette party that requested a ride, a few blocks away from their destination, the Omni. What did Braxton do? It would appear he thought it proper to take photos of his passengers, passed out on the sidewalk of Broadway downtown, covered in their own vomit, and post them to social media.
We blurred the faces of the Uber passengers for privacy, the original social media post is not blurred.
What would you do if you woke up this morning to find your Uber driver had posted your photos on Social media?
If you want to “shame people” maybe you should shame dumb drunk people who waste Uber Drivers time and gas for nothing like this. Driving for Uber is tough enough without losing gas and time to this crap. And I GUARANTEE he was not the 1st to post pictures of these 2 to social media
