Nashville Drag Queen Paige Tuner, also known as Darrell Lee Myers during the day, was arrested just after 3AM Thursday morning, for a 2nd Offense Driving Under the Influence charge. Myers was released from the Davidson County Jail on a $5,000 bond just after 1PM Thursday. (Mugshot above is from a 2015 THP DUI Arrest in Robertson County of Myers).

“…did not make a single successful heel to toe step.”

Even though this is technically the 3rd DUI arrest for Myers, the charge is ‘DUI 2ND OFFENSE’ because his 2nd DUI arrest in Robertson County in 2015 was plead down to Reckless Endangerment, and his probation continued in Davidson County.

UPDATE 07/28: Less than 24 hours after paying bail yesterday, Darrell Myers (aka Paige Turner) was re-arrested on Friday just after 11AM – as this new charge is a violation of her current probation from her 2014 DUI, the details of which are at the end of this article. Probation for Myers was originally only a 11 mo/29 day sentence, however due to multiple violations, it was restarted in August of 2016, and again in January of 2017. This will be the 3rd violation of probation. His court date for the DUI Charge is 08/24/17, and is currently being held with no bond for the Violation of Probation charge, until that court date on 08/07/17.

Here are the MANDATORY minimums, if convicted of the DUI 2nd Offense Charge, in addition to any Violation of Probation outcomes (https://www.tn.gov/safety/article/duioutline) :

  • 45 days to 11 months, 29 days in jail
  • $600-$3,500 mandatory fine
  • License revocation for 2 years/Restricted License available
  • Subject to vehicle seizure/forfeiture
  • Ordered to attend an alcohol and drug treatment program
  • Ignition Interlock Device installed at your expense

  • Pay restitution to any person suffering personal injury or loss

On 7-27-2017 at 0048 hrs, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Whites Creek Pke and Moormans Arm Rd to respond to an injury involved accident between two vehicles.

Upon Officer Green’s arrival to the scene, he observed Mr. Darrell Myers standing next to a blue 1987 Oldsmobile CCI. Mr. Myers stated that he was the driver of that specific vehicle involved in the accident. When I arrived to the scene, it was immediately apparent that Mr. Myers had red/watery eyes, was unsteady/uncoordinated on his feet, and had the odor of alcohol coming from his expelled breath.

Mr. Myers consented to performing various SFST’s for officers. On HGN, Mr. Myers showed nystagmus at maximum deviation as well as 45 degrees. His pupils were dilated and his eyes tracked unequally.

On the walk and turn, Mr. Myers stepped off line several times, waved his arms to maintain balance, did not count out loud, and did not make a single successful heel to toe step.

On the one-leg stand, Mr. Myers repeatedly put his foot down, had unsteady balance, and eventually stopped the test after 21 seconds. Although Mr. Myers completed the tests given, he showed indicators of intoxication on all tests administered. Mr. Myers was then taken into custody at 0120 hrs and was read his Miranda rights (which he understood). Due to Mr. Myers having previously been convicted of DUI on 4-12-2014, a blood draw was mandatory. He signed the implied consent form and consented to a blood draw (which was performed at general hospital).
