Officers were dispatched to a local White Castle on Friday, where an assault victim retreated to to call police and hide from the aggressor, his wife. Anthony (Tony) Rucker states his wife, Talanda Fisher Rucker, attacked him, kicked open the bathroom door where he was hiding, attacked him with scissors, hit him with her fists, pushed him down a set of stairs, and threw a chair at him from the porch.
Talanda is being charged with:
“Assault, Aggravated – Deadly Weapon – Int/Kn”

Rucker bonded out just before 8AM on Saturday, via Free at Last Bonding, on a $5,000 bond.

Officers were dispatched to 2901 Nolensville, the White Castle, to take a report for an aggravated domestic assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim who stated that him and his wife Talanda, the suspect, had gotten into a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation at their apartment at 212 Pebble Creek Circle. The victim stated that he went into the bathroom and that the suspect kicked the door open and physically attacked him, striking him with a closed fist to the head. The victim stated that he attempted to leave the apartment to escape from her when she grabbed scissors and attacked him with scissors. The victim stated that he was able to get the scissors away from her and proceeded to exit the apartment. The victim stated that the entire time he was attempting to leave the suspect kept attacking him. The victim stated that as he exited the apartment the victim pushed him down steps and threw a chair that was on the porch at him. I observed that the victim’s shirt had the buttons ripped off of it. The victim did have scratched on his right hand and wrist.
The couple has been married since August of 2014, per court records.
