DEFENDANT: Sridevia J Neils
VICTIM STATED THAT SHE WENT TO THE SUSPECT’S APARTMENT TO GERT HER TO DELETE PERSONAL INFORMATION OFF OF HER PHONE. SHE STATED THAT SHE KNOCKED ON THE SUSPECT’S DOOR AND THE SUSPECT OPENED DOOR HOLDING A HANDGUN. SHE FURTHER STATED THAT AN ARGUMENT STARTED AND THE SUSPECT GRABBED HER PHONE. SHE ADDED THAT SHE GRABBED THE PHONE BACK AND THE SUSPECT SHOT HER. THE VICTIM SUSTAINED A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE RIGHT EAR. VICTIM STATED THAT THE ENCOUNTER LASTED ABOUT A MINUTE AND A HALF. VICTIM RECORDED THE ENCOUNTER UP UNTIL SHE WAS SHOT.
DEFENDANT: David Hammer
As a Registered Violent Sex Offender, David Hammer has been sentenced to and agreed to the rules of Community Supervision for Life as adopted by the Tennessee Department of Correction pursuant to TCA 39-13-524. Rule 3 states: I will attend, participate in, and pay for treatment or counseling with an approved treatment provider as deemed necessary by the Board, the Court, or my Officer. On August 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm Officer Erickson received an email from Approved Treatment Provider Jack Tracy stating that Mr. Hammer has been unsuccessfully discharged from Sex Offender Treatment for continuing to verbalize anti-social criminal thinking, not following directions, and not assuming responsibility for his behaviors due to his inconsistent attendance in treatment. Mr. Hammer also owes an outstanding fee balance. Hammer knowing violated the conditions of Community Supervision for Life pursuant to TCA 39-13-526 (b)(1).

Mr. King was observed meeting with another individual in a parking lot near Ewing ln and Dickerson Pike. Mr. King was also observed leaving the location in a silver vehicle with very dark window tint. Mr. King failed to use a true signal when turning onto Dickerson Pike from Ewing Ln. Detectives conducted a traffic stop for the violation and could smell the very strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Mr. King admitted to smoking marijuana. Detectives located 30 grams of marijuana concealed in the gas tank cover. Mr. King also admitted to having 2 Lortab pills hidden in his sock.

On 9/12/2017 the defendant, Mr. Thornton, was observed running a stop sign at Peachtree Dr. and Burbank Av. He was stopped for the violation and found to be driving on a revoked driver license. He pled guilty to the same offense on 3/27/2017. He has many prior arrests related to driving offenses. He has a total of fourteen FTA’s.

ON 09/11/2017 OFFICER’S RESPONDED TO 27XX DICKERSON PKE ON REPORTS OF A PHYSICAL FIGHT BETWEEN TWO INDIVIDUALS WHERE ONE OF THE PERSON FIGHTING DREW AND FIRED A PISTOL. WHEN OFFICER’S ARRIVED ON SCENE, THE DEFENDANT AND THE VICTIM WERE SEEN STANDING IN THE FRONT OF THEIR MOBILE TRAILER HOMES VERBALLY ARGUING AND THE DEFENDANT WAS COUGHING AND UNABLE TO SPEAK. OFFICER’S SEPARATED THE DEFENDANT AND THE VICTIM. THE DEFENDANT’S CHILDREN WERE STANDING BESIDE HIM CRYING. THE DEFENDANT WAS THEN ASKED TO UNLOCK HIS HOME SO THE CHILDREN COULD WATCH TV WHILE OFFICER INVESTIGATED THE INCIDENT. UPON SPEAKING WITH THE DEFENDANT, HE ADMITTED THAT HE HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN A VERBAL ARGUMENT WITH HIS BROTHER REGARDING THE DEFENDANTS SON NOT COMPLETING HIS HOMEWORK. THE DEFENDANT WAS ON THE TELEPHONE WITH HIS SONS SCHOOL AND STATED THAT HIS BROTHER (VICTIM) KEPT YELLING AT THE DEFENDANT’S CHILD. THE DEFENDANT TOLD HIS CHILDREN TO GET THEIR BELONGINGS AND THAT THEY WERE GOING HOME. AS THE DEFENDANT STARTED TO THEIR RESIDENCE, WHICH IS TWO TRAILER HOMES DOWN FROM THE VICTIM’S, THE VICTIM KEPT YELLING AT THE DEFENDANT, THE DEFENDANT TURNED AROUND TO CONFRONT THE VICTIM AND AFTER THE VERBAL ARGUMENT BECAME PHYSICAL, THE DEFENDANT PULLED A 9MM TAURUS FROM HIS BACK POCKET AND FIRED IT INTO THE AIR. DUE TO THE DEFENDANT RECKLESSLY FIRING A WEAPOND WHILE INVOLVED IN A PHYSICAL ALTERCATION WITH HIS BROTHER, THE DEFENDANT WAS PLACED UNDER ARREST FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AND TRANSPORTED TO BOOKING.
