Jeremy ‘Austin’ Bowden, 20, was arrested again this week for attempting to be a drug dealer while ripping off a client, a career goal that he has consistently failed at. From Selling Baking Powder as cocaine (fail), thinking cops can’t see him if he watches from the parking lot next door (fail), stealing packages from doorsteps (fail), and just when he was arrested for it all and got out on bond, he was charged for all those things again on more counts (fail). And that’s just the past 2 months.
This week, Jeremy ‘Austin’ Bowden made it a family affair, when he, his girlfriend, and his father were in a vehicle in the HG Hills parking lot on Dickerson Pk. Austin was in the passenger seat, His girlfriend, Ali Nation was driving, and his father, Jeremy Smith, was in the back seat. Per MNPD police reports, Austin admitted they were meeting an unknown female in the parking lot, and told police the unidentified female they met gave him $190 for heroin, and he told her they would have to go to his cousin’s house to get the product. He told police his intent was to drive off with her money, and not give her any drugs. The $190 she gave Austin Bowden was found stuffed in his crotch.
A MNPD officer observed the entire incident above, and approached their vehicle after the transaction. Austin Bowden and his father, Jeremy Smith, attempted to walk away from the vehicle, but were detained, at which point his father admitted to having an uncapped syringe in his pocket. The driver of the car, Ali Nation (Austin’s girlfriend) was found to have heroin in her purse. Austin Bowden volunteered that his father had put the heroin in his girlfriend’s purse, however the girlfriend told police that Austin actually gave her the heroin to hold, and that Austin both uses and sells heroin.
All three were arrested, Bowden’s father also had two outstanding warrants, and Austin was out on a several bonds from previous charges. Bowden’s father told police “I’m just a junkie. I just got into the car and didn’t know a thing”.
Bowden will appear in court for 8 charges on 10/09/17 for review hearings, and an additional court date on 11/05/17.
Jeremy ‘Austin’ Bowden affidavit:
The suspect was observed meeting with a passenger of another vehicle in the parking lot of HG Hills grocery store on Dickerson Pk. The entire meeting was consistent with a drug transaction.
The suspect and co defendant (Smith) then attempted to walk away from the vehicle in which I stopped them in after the meeting. Co-defendant (Smith) then admitted to detectives that he had a uncapped syringe in his pocket.
The suspect continuously attempted to push an object into his crotch area as he was talking to me. The suspect was found to have $190 in his crotch area.
The suspect admitted under Miranda that he had gotten the money found in his crotch from the girl (yet identified) in the parking lot of HG Hill. The suspect then stated that he was going to take the girl to his cousins house and just drive off with the money. The suspect did state that the girl in HG Hill gave him the money for heroin which he was going to retrieve from his cousins house.
Shortly after, the co-defendant (Nation) was found to have heroin in her purse. That substance field tested positive for heroin. The suspect then stated that the co-defendant (Smith) who is also his father placed heroin in his girlfriends (co-defendant Nation) purse.

The suspect was the back seat passenger of a vehicle stopped during a drug investion. The suspect attempted to walk away from the vehicle during the stop. The suspect was found to have 2 outstanding warrants out for his arrest. The suspect also admitted that he had a uncapped syringe on his persons. Detectives recovered a a uncapped syringe from the suspect pocket. The driver (co-defendant Nation) was found to have heroin in her purse. That substance field tested positive for heroin. The co-defendant (Nation) stated that the suspect gave her the heroin to her. The co-defendant (Nation) then stated that her boyfriend (Co-defendant Bowden) gave her the heroin while he (co-defendant Bowden) was meeting with a person in HG Hill parking lot during a heroin deal. The suspect stated that he is a junkie and that he just got into the car and didn’t know a thing.
Ali Brooke Nation:
The suspect was driving a vehicle that was stopped during a drug investigation. During the stop, the suspect was found to have a substance that field tested positive for heroin in her purse. The suspect admitted under Miranda that co-defendant Smith had placed the heroin in her purse. The suspect later stated that the co-defendant (Bowden) placed the heroin in her purse. The suspect admitted that she knows her boyfreind (co-defendant Bowden) sells and uses heroin. The suspect admitted that she knew she was driving her boyfriend (co-defendant Bowden) to meet at HG Hill parking lot so he could pick up money.
