Michael Oher Settles Out Of Court w/Uber Driver – (up to $750,000) – Criminal Charge Dismissed

Former Tennessee Titan, Michael Oher, had all charges dismissed this morning in a Nashville court, where he had been charged with misdemeanor assault against an Uber driver in the early morning hours of April 14. According to a police affidavit,  Oher pushed and kicked his Uber driver over an apparent dispute over the fare. The 911 audio call is available here.

In court documents obtained, Oher was sued by the Uber driver, Girma Berkessa, for up to $250,000 in compensatory damages, and $500,000 in punitive damages. The exact amount of the settlement was handled out of court, when the case was closed on 10/17.
