We all saw the car driving down the steps at 5th & Main over the weekend, but in case you didn’t we have videos and photos below. The man in the driver’s seat was Travaris Pulse, 32, of Ewing Valley Rd, in Nashville. According to reports, police asked Pulse about the accident where his car became stuck going down a set of stairs onto the street below, to which Pulse responded that he actually drove down SEVERAL sets of stairs from the parking area before getting stuck. Pulse admitted to having a “lot” to drink and “it was all liquor”. Pulse was given a breath test for alcohol, and blew a 0.13.
Pulse had a 2009 charge for driving on a revoked license, another suspended license citation in 2007, and altering his title/registration in 2006. In 2005 he had several traffic citations, including speeding over 75mph, a seat belt violation, and no insurance.
Pulse will appear in court on 10/31/17 to answer to the charge.

THE SUSPECT WAS INVOLVED IN A SINGLE CAR ACCIDENT WHERE HE DROVE HIS VEHICLE DOWN STAIRS, GETTING HIS VEHICLE STUCK. WHEN SPOKEN TO, THE SUSPECT SMELLED OF ALCOHOL AND APPEARED TO HAVE A HARD TIME KEEPING HIS BALANCE. THE SUSPECT WAS ASKED ABOUT THE ACCIDENT, WITH HIM ADVISING THAT HE DROVE FROM A PARKING LOT, DOWN SEVERAL SETS OF STAIRS BEFORE GETTING STUCK. WHEN ASKED, THE SUSPECT ADVISED HE HAD A LOT TO DRINK AND IT WAS ALL LIQUOR. THE SUSPECT WAS GIVEN FIELD SOBRIETY TASK, WITH HIM SHOWING INDICATORS OF IMPAIRMENT. THE SUSPECT WAS READ THE TN IMPLIED CONSENT LAW, ASKED TO TAKE A BREATH TEST. THE SUSPECT ADVISED HE UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS READ, AGREEING TO THE BREATH TEST. THE SUSPECT WAS GIVEN THE BREATH TEST, WITH HIS BAC BEING 0.13.
Previous Affidavit:
THE SUSPECT WAS DRIVING A VEHICLE. IT DID NOT APPEAR THAT THE DRIVER WAS WEARING HIS SEATBELT. IN PLAIN VIEW THE SUSPECT’S VEHICLE DISPLAYED AN ALTERED TEMP TAG ON THE DRIVER’S SIDE REAR WINDOW. THE TAG WAS ISSUED ON 11-6-05 AND SHOULD HAVE EXPIRED ON 12-6-05. THE TAG WAS ALTERED TO 05-18-06.
