East Nashville DUI Arrest: Tyler Jacobsen Blows Over Double Legal Limit – 0.184 BAC

Tyler Jacobsen was stopped by MNPD early Saturday morning in East Nashville as he decided to drive without any lights just after 2AM on Gallatin Ave.

Upon contact with Jacobsen, the officer reports there was an odor of alcohol coming from him, his speech was slurred, and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. Upon performing SFST’s there were numerous indicators of impairment, and he was taken into custody. Tyler Jacobsen consented to a breath test, and registered a 0.184% BAC.

Jacobsen was booked into the DCSO just before 2:30AM, and charged with DUI. a $5,000 bond was initially set, however at 11AM he was released on the pretrial program, and will appear in court on 12/08/17 to answer to the charge.

MNPD Affidavit:

I noticed a vehicle traveling on Gallatin Avenue without any lights on at night and conducted a traffic stop. When I spoke with the driver, Mr. Jacobson, I noticed his eyes were bloodshot and watery, his speech was slurred, and he had the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. I asked Mr. Jacobson to perform SFST and noticed numerous indicators of impairment. I took him into custody and read the implied consent form to him. He consented to a breath test, registering 0.184% BAC.
