CLOUD IX: Only 2 of the 4 Security Guards Were Legally Licensed

Per MNPD, the security guards who fired in the deadly Cloud IX shooting have claimed they shot in self defense. They said they were involved in a verbal argument inside the hookah bar with McClain when he was asked to leave. They fired outside when he was alleged to have shot at them. That self defense claim is under investigation.

There were four security guards present, listed below – and upon our ENN investigation, only 2 of the four were licensed to be an active security guard (armed OR unarmed) in Tennessee. Brian Barham, Jr (21), and Bryce Hardy (28) are fully licensed armed security guards in Tennessee. The other two on duty were Tarryn Williams (28) whose license expired in October of 2014, and Brandon Transou (24) who has never applied for a security guard license in Tennessee (armed or unarmed).

Brian Barham, Jr (21) – Fully Licensed, only 3 months ago.

Bryce William Hardy (28) – Fully Licensed

Tarryn Williams (28) – EXPIRED 3 YEARS AGO

Brandon Transou (24) – NO LICENSE OR APPLICATION IN TN

NO LICENSE / ARMED OR UNARMED IN TN.
