In the very early hours of Friday morning, someone awoke the residents in the 2900 block of Lee Davis Road in East Nashville, banging on the door, screaming “let me in!”. Once officers responded to the call, they found Dillon Blaney, 36, hiding in the carport, attached to the residence.

Officers made contact with Blaney, who reeked of alcohol, had red watery eyes, and slurred speech.

Dillon Blaney was charged with:

  • Disorderly Conduct ($500 Bond)
  • Public Intox ($500 Bond)

Blaney was released via the pre-trial program 3 hours just before 9AM, 3 hours after being booked. The incident happened about a 5 minute walk from his home. He will appear in court on 01/08/2018.

Court Affidavit:

Officers were dispatched to Lee Davis Road on a disorderly person banging on the front door. The residents stated the defendant was banging on their front door screaming, “let me in.”Officers observed the defendant hiding in the carport attached to the residence. Officers made contact with the defendant who had a very strong odor of alcohol, red watery eyes, and slurred speech. Officers spoke with the residents of the property and were very shaken by the incident. While the defendant was very cooperative my concern was that he was a danger to himself and others as his level of intoxication and impairment seemed quite high as indicated by his physical and mental state. Due to the defendants being an intoxicated person who is in danger to himself and others while engaging in disorderly conduct he was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
