Laken Ashley Gregor was arrested on Sunday morning after she assaulted her boyfriend, Shaun Bertrand, with a coffee table, causing substantial bleeding. And this isn’t her first assault for domestic violence against men.
According to court documents, MNPD responded to a call of a ‘person with a weapon’ at the Kress Lofts. Upon arrival, officers report several puddles of blood leading to a 3rd floor apartment. After several attempts of knocking on the door with no response, the building manager allowed access to the residence to check on the victim and suspect.
Once Officers made entry into the location they made contact with the Victim, Shaun Bertrand. The Victim stated he and his girlfriend, Laken Ashley Gregor (the Defendant) had been drinking and began a verbal argument. The Victim stated the altercation began to escalate when the Gregor threw a table at him, striking him in the face and causing a laceration above his right eye.
Laken Gregor was taken into custody without incident. Search incident to arrest discovered approximately 6 grams of marijuana in her purse. She was charges with felony agg assault ($5K Bond) and possession ($2K Bond) – and bonded out via Free At Last, and will appear in court on 02/05/2018.
This was not the first time that Laken Gregor has assaulted her boyfriend. In May of 2017, she was arrested in Williamson County on the same charge. In that case it was eventually dropped as Bertrand refused to cooperate with prosecution.
