Jon Robb, co-founder of Music City Light Beer (Nashville Beer Co) & Copper Kettle, was arrested early Monday morning for DUI, Implied Consent(criminal), Weapon Under the Influence, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

According to a police report, on 03/12/18 around 0240 hours, MNPD responded to the intersection of Woodland St / S 5th St for a traffic crash involving a gray Hyundai and a utility pole, called in by a passerby. When police arrived, the gray Hyundai was no longer at the intersection. Police canvassed the area and located a 2016 Gray Hyundai Sonata at the intersection of Russell St / S 5th St.

Police approached the vehicle and observed Jon Robb in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle was running. Police made contact with the defendant, who stated he was downtown earlier this evening. Police asked if he was the individual involved in the traffic crash at the intersection of Woodland St / S 5th St, to which the defendant stated he was involved. The damage to the vehicle was consistent with the traffic crash police were dispatched on.

The defendant exited the vehicle, was unsteady on his feet, had a strong odor of alcohol emanating from his breath, and had bloodshot eyes. The defendant was unable to perform the Standard Field Sobriety Tasks due to his level of intoxication. Police noticed the defendant had a license to carry permit. The defendant admitted to police there was a handgun in the glove compartment. Located in the glove compartment was a Glock 19 with 17 rounds in the magazine. The defendant was read the Implied Consent Law, to which he refused to submit to a breath test, even though it was mandatory due to a previous conviction. Police then obtained a search warrant for a blood draw, which was performed at Nashville General / Meharry Hospital.

Jon Robb‘s bond was set at $5,000, and he was released just after 8 AM Monday morning. He will appear in court on 04/05/18.
