If you thought your Monday was bad this week, here’s a line from a charging affidavit for Kristi Lea Smith, from the DCSO (Davidson County Sheriff’s Office):
“UPON A SEARCH IN DCSO CUSTODY, DAVIDSON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPUTIES LOCATED A SYRINGE IN THE DEFENDANT’S VAGINA.”
Kristi Lea Smith was initially arrested on drug paraphernalia charges on Monday, after she was found to have been in a vehicle with someone that had overdosed, who medics eventually found slumped over the steering wheel in the vehicle.
Witnesses place her in the vehicle, and also in the vehicle were found a clear cylindrical pipe with burn marks at the end, along with a spoon with white streaks on it. Due to having 9 previous failure to be booked/appear for court, she was taken into custody.
During her search at the DCSO, deputies located a syringe inside of her vagina, that she was attempting to sneak into the jail. She was charged with a felony, for possession of contraband in jail. She is currently held on a $1500 bond with a hold for additional charges pending.
