After Jade Caruthers (Juwan Williams) was arrested Friday, police have been busy picking up others associated her/his previous boosts, as there is a long line of individuals that have been identified committing the thefts with Juwan Williams over the past few months.
LaRonda ‘BooThang’ Booker, 19, was arrested just before 2AM Tuesday morning, for her role in two thefts she committed with Juwan Williams. Williams was also served with 2 extra theft charges related to the two incidents, as he was already in custody with multiple out of county holds in addition to his bond.
The two new felony theft charges stem from two incidents at Macy’s at Rivergate Mall, on 03/19/18 & 03/26/18. There is still one defendant that has not yet been arrested, but currently has warrants for these incidents.
On 03/19, Juwan Williams, LaRonda Booker, and one other co-defendant, entered the Macy’s at Rivergate Mall and cleared an entire clothing rack of merchandise, and ran out the store with it, without offering payment. The amount of the merchandise totaled $2,185.00.
On 03/26, Juwan Williams, LaRonda Booker, and one other co-defendant, entered the Macy’s at Rivergate Mall near the fragrance counter. They gathered several items of Nike apparel and ran out the same entrance. The total value of the theft was $2,390.00.
Williams & Booker both picked up 2 counts of felony theft. Juwan Williams has a $135,000 bond, and a no-hold charge, and out of county holds. LaRonda ‘BooThang’ Booker was given a $10,000 bond and is free on pre-trial release.
