Herman Blacksmith & his girlfriend, Lamonteisha Johnson, were driving east on Clarksville Pk when they encountered Herman’s ex-girlfriend, Monee Smith, driving west toward them. According to a police report, Monee Smith drove her vehicle into the oncoming lane of travel, intentionally striking the car Herman Blacksmith was driving with her car.
Monee then stopped her vehicle at the hood of the victim’s vehicle. When the victim tried to open his driver’s door, Monee Smith tried to stab him with a knife. He was able to get the knife away from her, it was a 3-inch black pocket knife. Monee then started hitting him with a closed fist inside his vehicle, and he was bleeding when police arrived.
She was held down on the ground by Herman until police arrived. She was charged with Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon, a class C felony, and bond was set at $10,000 which she posted via Free At Last, and was released late Monday evening.
In February, Monee Smith was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon when she got in her vehicle and struck one of the same victims above (Herman’s new girlfriend), knocking her to the ground, along with a motorcycle that was parked nearby. She now has court dates on 05/22 & 06/07 in regards to both felony charges.
