4 Arrested in Music City Pawn Robbery of Guns – Investigation Ongoing

Four persons are in custody and five handguns, four of which were reportedly taken during Tuesday morning’s robbery at Music City Pawn, 2638 Nolensville Pike, were recovered after a vehicle stop Wednesday.

North Precinct Officer Anthony Cavis stopped the driver of a BMW sedan at 6 p.m. for an improper left turn at 24th Avenue North and Rosa Parks Boulevard.  Officer Cavis detected a strong odor of marijuana as he approached the car.  The driver, James Horton Jr., 24, told Officer Cavis that he had just smoked marijuana. Seized during a subsequent search of the car were five stolen handguns, four of which had been reported stolen from Music City Pawn. The fifth handgun was reported stolen during a vehicle burglary.  A wallet taken during a March 17th robbery on 17th Avenue North was also recovered.

Horton and his passengers, Pacresha Cosby, 25, and convicted felons Hakeem Mannie, 29, and Herbert Marsh, 28, are charged with theft and unlawful gun and drug possession.  Additionally, Mannie and Marsh are charged with felons in possession of a handgun.
