James Lobasco aka ‘Trigga Scope’ arrested for drugs… again: 314 Hydrocodone Pills

James Lobasco (aka Trigga Scope) was arrested on felony drug charges Saturday night, after he was stopped for running a red light.

According to officers, Lobasco was exiting from I-40, onto 28th Ave, when he ran the red light turning onto 28th. Officers reported a smell of marijuana when they approached the vehicle, and he was asked to step out of the vehicle. Lobasco admitted to smoking in the vehicle Friday night, which caused the smell to still be in the vehicle, but also had a small baggie of marijuana in his pocket, which he gave to the officer.

A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded 3 plastic baggies containing a total of 314 hydrocodone pills in the center console.

Lobasco was charged with possession w/intent (SCH IV), and possession. He posted a $10,000 bond via Free At Last, and will appear in court on 06/22/18.

In 2015, Lobasco was under investigation for having several shipments of marijuana shipped to him via the postal service, and was arrested when he paid $9,000 to have just over 4 pounds of marijuana delivered to him and picked up the package, for which he received a 2 year suspended sentence, on supervised probation, and violated his probation once in 2016.

Prior to that he was found with a loaded shotgun and marijuana, and charged with possession w/intent, for which he received a differed judgment (aka no conviction). He additionally had possession charge dismissed with cost in 2011.
