Frazier Bernard Lumpkins, 66, was found shot to death at 8 PM Sunday night in an alley near the 1700 block of 23rd Avenue North.
Witnesses reported gunshots to the police, and about 30 minutes later, a passerby discovered Lumpkins’ body. One witness reported seeing Lumpkins walking up and down 23rd Avenue North Sunday between Osage Street and Buchanan Street.
North Precinct detectives are working to identify the person(s) responsible for killing Lumpkins. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
