Lashonda Arnetta Simmons is free on a $5,000 bond after she is accused of pulling a gun on a couple over a handicapped parking space her car was parked in at her apartment late Sunday.

At 10:18 PM Sunday night, two individuals were parked on Meadow Creek Circle to move some items into an apartment, when one of the individuals noted there was a vehicle illegally parked in a handicapped spot. The other individual reportedly began speaking about the issue loudly when the car’s owner, Lashonda Simmons, came out onto the balcony of her apartment overlooking the parking lot and stated “you better not hit my car”.

The male victim and Lashonda then got into a verbal argument over her using the handicapped parking space. Lashonda then went inside and came back out and pointed a small black handgun toward the two people that were moving things into an apartment.

The two continued to move things into the apartment, at which time they say Lashonda Simmons rand down the stairs toward them, yelling that she was going to call her brother to “come take care of” the male victim. Simmons then allegedly pointed the handgun at them and yelled “I’m going to lace you!”.

Lashonda Simmons, who goes by ‘HairStay Fly’ on social media, was located the her residence and placed her into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She posted a $5,000 bond and will appear in court on 07/27/18.
