Jeremy ‘Austin’ Bowden, Nicholas Ferrell, and Ali Nation were arrested Wednesday night in a Donelson drug bust.
According to details on a warrant, on August 22nd, Jeremy ‘Austin’ Bowden & Ali Nation sold .6 grams of heroin to a confidential information, working with the Metro Nashville police department, which was part of the probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
On August 29th, Metro Nashville Police, executed a narcotics search warrant on the residence at 100 Graeme Drive. As the warrant was being served, three individuals exited the residence. Nicholas Ferrell pull, twisted, and jerked away from police, trying to escape their grasp on them as he was being detained. Jeremy Bowden & Ali Nation fled the house toward a black Nissan Altima. Nation dropped a scale with drug residue on it when being detained, and Bowden resisted when police attempted to detain him.
Officers located a brown powder substance, which Nation admitted was heroin. She also had $294 in small denominations, which police say was consistent with street level drug sales. A search of the Nissan resulted in the seizure of a .40 caliber handgun in the driver’s side door panel, along with a large bottle of white powder, believed to be a cutting agent for narcotics.
Ferrell was charged only with resisting arrest and posted a $2,000 bond. He was already out of jail on a recent drug related arrest where the judge ROR’d him – that case is still pending.
Bowden is charged with selling a schedule I drug, possession w/intent schedule I drug, drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and resisting arrest. He remains in jail on a $75,000 bond as of Friday. At the time of his arrest, Bowden was out on a $70,000 bond for a grand jury indictment for multiple drug, weapon, and theft charges. We also covered him multiple times previously, including selling fake drugs.
Nation is charged with selling a schedule I drug, possession w/intent schedule I drug, drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. She also remains in jail on a $75,000 bond as of Friday.
