Frank B Gaiters, III, who served as an MNPD Officer until his termination in 2003, is in custody on a $100,000 bond on charges of sexual battery by an authority figure (stepfather).

According to police, 46-year-old Frank Gaiters reportedly sexually molested his 14-year-old stepdaughter while her mother was at work. Youth services detectives report that the juvenile victim disclosed that her stepfather touched her in a sexual manner while she was in her bedroom last month.

Per the report, Frank Gaiters came  into the bedroom and stroked the victim’s hair with his hand, then left the room, only to return a short time later. When he returned to the room he reportedly rubbed the victim’s stomach and then his hand trailed down and touched her in a sexual manner, at which the victim says he asked her if she felt uncomfortable, and she nodded “yes”. She says he then stopped and told her to not tell her mother because he would never do it again.
