Tangaletta ‘Swift Jay’ Clark, 21, was arrested on multiple charges after she fled from a wrecked vehicle on Sunday. She is a well-known member of the ‘#BoosterClub’, with dozens of related charges across middle Tennessee.

On Sunday, Tangaletta was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 46th Ave North and Alabama Avenue. Police observed her running from the crash scene on foot, and hiding in a nearby restaurant. Once officers made contact with Clark, she admitted to being in the vehicle at the time of the crash. There was marijuana and a scale in the vehicle, for which on one claimed, so everyone was charged.

Why did she run? She had an outstanding warrant for theft, from T.J. Maxx. The warrant shows that on November 1st, she was one of two females that left the Gallatin Pike location with $141.00 worth of merchandise without paying. Clark was clearly identified on video as one of the two suspects.

Tangaletta Clark is charged with theft, paraphernalia, and drug possession. This also re-opened previous cases, as she has violated her probation on those cases. She appears in court today for a probation hearing.
