The investigation of Brown’s murder shows that Bell and Brown argued on S. 6th Street a short time prior to the shooting and then went their separate ways. Brown was fatally wounded as he and another man rode a scooter onto Dew Street from S. 7th Street. Bell was with at least two other individuals when the shots were fired.  Efforts are continuing to identify them, shown below.

Bell was convicted of reckless aggravated assault on May 16th of this year.  He received a two-year suspended sentence and was placed on unsupervised probation.  He was convicted of two counts of aggravated robbery in March 2009 and received a nine-year prison sentence.

Anyone seeing Bell or knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.  Additionally, anyone able to identify two individuals photographed by area surveillance cameras who are being sought for questioning in this case is also asked to contact Crime Stoppers.  Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
