Two arrested in connection with West Nashville meth lab

Undercover detectives from the West Precinct executed a search warrant Friday afternoon on Illinois Avenue, as a response to citizen complaints of methamphetamine use at the residence.

Once detectives were inside, they discovered components of a meth lab, as well as .2 grams of cocaine, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, a pistol, and $2712 in US currency.

Monica Adkins, 41, and William Tabor, 39, were each charged with felon in possession of a handgun, gun possession during the commission of a felony, and possession/manufacture of methamphetamine, and dispensing drugs illegally. Tabor has a $46,500 bond, and Adkins has a $46,000 bond.

Admins was previously convicted of manufacturing meth in 2016, and received a mostly probated sentence. Tabor has previous convictions for aggravated assault and felony marijuana possession.
