Ketarra Wright, 21, and Brejala Clayton, 23, were taken into custody Saturday afternoon and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say they attacked an employee at Little Caesars Pizza on Dickerson Pike.
The incident occurred on November 26th, when the pair were in the drive-thru, and a dispute escalated with the employee inside. According to police, the employee was stabbed/cut by Brejala Clayton, after she entered the building to continue the dispute and charged him with the knife. During the incident, Ketarra Wright can be seen on video pushing over the cash registers and the other items located on the front counter of the business, and she then follows after the employee with Clayton.
During the attack, the employee picked up a small sign to defend himself from the knife attack, however a metal piece fell from the sign, at which time Wright struck him with the metal piece. The employee suffered an injury to his back as the result of being stabbed/cut with the knife by Brejala.
The pair was positively identified via photo lineup, and both made incriminating statements during their interviews. Wright has an additional charge of vandalism, in addition to her aggravated assault charge.
Wright posted a $9,000 bond, and Clayton posted a $9500 bond, both via Elite Bonding.
