Christopher Clark Jr., 19, is free on a $20,000 bond this morning after he was charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Clark’s girlfriend says she was forced into a vehicle, punched in the face, and held against her will with a knife as he drove to an unknown location.

Metro Police say Christopher Clark and his girlfriend of four years were in Bellevue on Friday night, planning on watching a movie. The couple got into a verbal argument, which resulted in Clark forcing his girlfriend (now victim) into his vehicle against her will. As he drove toward Madison, the argument subsided as she now believed he was likely taking her to her home.

As they entered the Rivergate area, she realized hey were no longer going to her house, and she was scared of where she was being taken. She began to make attempts to exit the vehicle, realizing she was now being kidnapped, and wasn’t free to leave, as he refused to stop or take her home. She almost escaped the vehicle once, only to be pulled back in by Clark, who then began to striker her face with his open hand, then progressed to punching her with a closed fist.

After assaulting her, Clark then produced a knife, using it to threaten her life so she would stay in the vehicle. The victim attempted to grab the knife, resulting in a laceration to her palm. After multiple attempts, she was eventually able to escape, with lacerations, abrasions, a bloody nose, and abrasions and bruising to her face, according to police.

Christopher Clark Jr., of Hendersonville,  was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He posted a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 23rd.
