Metro Police say that 37-year-old Terra S Smith was an accessory after the fact to Johnny Appleton’s crimes.
The two were charge-partners, for a 2017 case, and officials say she was aware Appleton had outstanding felony warrants related to that case (as did she), when the pair were living together at the time of Appleton’s arrest yesterday. Detectives observed her leaving the residence Thursday, shortly before the executed the search warrant and arrested Appleton, and seized 57 pounds of marijuana from their shared home.
Terra Smith is held on $5,000 accessory after the fact warrant, and $100,000 fugitive warrant.
