A witness says Alexis Crisp, 20, told her boyfriend she was going to run over him. She proceeded to get into her vehicle, drive toward the victim, who was hiding behind a golf cart, swerve toward him, and attempt to hit him with her vehicle.

Metro Police received a call for service to the boyfriend’s (victim) apartment, which stated his girlfriend was at his apartment harassing him, and had attempted to run over him with her vehicle. Once on scene, the victim reported that his girlfriend was beating on his door, wanting money to pay for a personal matter. Not wanting her inside his apartment, the victim reportedly walked with her toward her car while they talked, until it turned into an argument and Crisp is said to have swung and struck him with a key lanyard.

As the victim turned to return to his apartment for safety, Alexis Crisp allegedly got into her vehicle and said she was going to run over him. Hearing this, the victim stepped next to a property maintenance golf cart, so she would not be able to impact him with her vehicle.  He says Crisp then drive her vehicle toward him, swerved in his direction, and attempted to hit him. The maintenance work at the location confirmed the victim’s statement.

Police arrived and took Alexis Crisp, 20, into custody, and charged her with felony domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She also had an active warrant for a failure to be booked for a no driver’s license citation. She is currently held on a $50,500.00 bond ($500 for the citation, $50,000 for the aggravated assault). She will have a bond review hearing on Thursday, January 24th.
