1805 Ultra Lounge owner Anthony Dewayne Powell was booked on an outstanding felony warrant this morning at 9:02 a.m., after his club was raided and padlocked overnight stemming from over 84 police calls for service. He is free on a $5,000 bond.

Uber driver charged for transporting man selling Heroin & Fentanyl, agents exposed during arrest
MNPD, Lebanon PD, and the WCSO all worked together to take down 30-year-old heroin distributor Isaiah Richard Gates Tuesday, and his uber driver, Tariku Bulit, after a long-term investigation. During the arrest, Gates ripped open a large bag of powder heroin in an attempt to destroy the evidence, and several officers were exposed to the the heroin.
Nashville school labels ‘white only’ & ‘black only’ water fountains & doors for Black History Month
Parents and students are concerned that a Black History display in the hallways of Pearl-Cohn High School may have went too far for their comfort. As part of a project, students labeled doors as ‘colored entrance’ and ‘white entrance’, and nearby water fountains as ‘black only’ and ‘white only’.

Metro Nashville police began raiding 1805 Ultra Lounge, at 1805 Church St., in Midtown just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. Violence and drug activity have led to the place being declared a public nuisance by a judge. A padlocking order is being executed.
