DUI Arrest: Nashville woman blows .165% BAC, hits parked car after leaving nightclub

Unique Marshay Ellis[fb], 22, was arrested and charged with DUI Wednesday morning just after 3 a.m., after hitting a parked car and admitting to officers she had “several vodka and orange juice’s at the club.”

Metro Police Officers observed Ellis drive driving her vehicle, and hitting a vehicle parked on the side of the street. Officers made contact with Ellis, noted an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her, and say she seemed disoriented and confused about the accident she was just in.

She performed SFST’s (standard field sobriety tests) at the scene, each of which resulted in several indicators, say police. She then agreed to give a breath sample, which resulted in a BAC of 0.165%, just over twice the legal limit in Tennessee. Officers say Ellis told them she had “several” vodka and orange juice drinks at “the club.”

Unique Marshay Ellis[IG], 22, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. She is free on pre-trial release.
