Grand Jury indicts Billy Keathley on 4 counts rape, extortion, & theft

Billy Ray Keathley[fb], 41, has been indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on 4 counts of rape, 1 count of theft of property, and 1 count of extortion. Keathley was most recently employed by ARS / Rescue Rooter for several years, including during the time of the rape allegations, and received customer reviews as recently as December. A spokesperson today confirmed he is no longer with the company. Previously, he was an animal control officer for both Metro Nashville, and Murfreesboro PAWS.

The indictment charges Billy Keathley with raping a person twice on August 7th, 2017, in Nashville, and twice on September 8th, 2017. In addition to the rape charges, the indictment charges Keathley with extortion  of the same person he raped, occurring from March of 2015 to September of 2017. A final count charges Keathley with theft of property over a sum of money, between $60K and $250K, between January of 2013 and September 2017.

Bill Keathley[IG] is free on an $80,000 bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned on March 6th. Catherine Keathley is also indicted on a theft charge, as shown in the full indictment below. Keathley resides in Murfreesboro, TN.
