Metro Police were patrolling Brick Church Pike late Friday night, when they noticed a vehicle parked in the rear of the Red Roof Inn with three individuals sitting inside it. As they went to make contact with the individuals, they all fled to a hotel room. A VIN check of the vehicle showed it to be stolen out of Nashville. The hotel was able to provide security footage, that showed the individuals leaving the car and entering the hotel. A short time later, officers observed and identified Johnny Burns, across the street from the hotel, as being in the stolen vehicle.
