Metro Police responded to a domestic disturbance at Nashville’s temporary Night Court location Saturday morning. Upon arrival they found the victim and her ex-girlfriend, Onneka Crutcher causing a commotion.

As police interviewed the victim, she said Crutcher threatened to kill her, causing her to be scared, and showed police a text message on her phone from Crutcher, dated 02/18/19 02:42 AM that read:

“Hoe, I will kill you.

The night court magistrate signed a warrant, charging her ex-girlfriend, Onneka Crutcher, with harassment, but that’s not even close to the end of the story. The victim then showed officers a video on her phone, from August 7th, 2018, that shows Crutcher approaching her with what appears to be a baseball bat. The victim states that while they were outside her Madison residence, Crutcher used that baseball bat to vandalize the victim’s 2005 Chevy Impala, causing the hood to be dented, and the windshield to be cracked. The victim says she was also struck in the hand by the bat.
