Cysilvia Jordan, 36, remains in jail this morning, after she spat on an officer’s eyeball when they were taking her into custody for a previous assault.
Metro Police responded to an assault call Thursday morning near 6th Avenue South and Korean Veterans Boulevard, in which Jordan is accused of pushing a man as he walked up stairs on the outside of a building. When officers told her to take a seat in the back of the patrol car, Jordan turned and spat at the officers, and landed spit in the eye of Officer Tony Foland.
Cysilvia Jordan is charged with assault, and assault of an officer – offensive contact, and is held in lieu of a $4,000 bond.
