Thomas James Cain, III, 47, was booked into the Davidson County jail just before 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, charged with possession of a firearm while drinking in bar, after his handgun slipped from his waistband onto the dance floor of Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse in downtown Nashville.

Metro Police were dispatched to 221 Broadway after staff at the location reported a handgun being turned into them by another patron, who found the loaded weapon on the dance floor. A short time later, a man approached staff and asked if anyone had turned in a handgun, stating it was in his waistband and must have fallen out on the dance floor.
