Dyquan Anthony Collins, 19, (better known as local rapper ‘Trainko’ who got fake shot last year) remains jailed on a $10,000 bond, after he is accused of posting a video of his girlfriend’s genitals to Instagram, then assaulting her when she told him to remove it. He says he acted in self-defense.
Metro Police responded to a call for service Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2 p.m. Upon arrival, the victim advised her boyfriend, Dyquan Collins, had posted a video of hem and her having sex on Instagram that showed her genitalia, and when she advised him to remove it, he started to assault her, and drug her down the stairs by her hair. She alleges he then began to slam her head against the wall. Her roommate, who was present during the incident, confirmed this account to the police.
Collins say he did not drag her down the stairs, but did have to defend himself, as she assaulted him. Officers observed a small bump on the top of the victim’s head, which she says happened during the altercation. Dyquan Collins was taken into custody, and charged with domestic assault. He remains jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
We previously covered Collins in 2018 when he went into Kroger located at 5705 Charlotte Pike and purchased $6,000 worth of gift cards and presented the cashier $5,000 in counterfeit money as payment. He was sentenced on that charged (which was reduced to a misdemeanor) with a plea of 11/29 probated sentence.
