Eric Ray Kincherlow III, 26, is held in a Nashville jail in lieu of an $11,000 bond on drug and auto-theft related charges after police noticed him trying to avoid them at Riverchase Apartments.

Police say they were exiting Riverchase Apartments on Joseph Avenue, when they observed a silver Lexus sedan enter the complex toward them, while the driver turned his head to avoid them seeing his face, and quickly entered a parking spot, parked, and attempted to walk away as officers circled back to park behind the suspicious vehicle and driver.

Kincherlow was detained, and the car returned as stolen when ran in ARMS. A search of his person and the vehicle resulted in a small amount of marijuana, and a second license plate, which was also reported as stolen. Kincherlow told officers he “borrowed the car from a friend.” He is currently held on an $11,000 bond, charged with theft of a vehicle, theft of property, drug possession, and paraphernalia charges.
