In April of 2018, Chaz Payne, who has just turned 18, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of felony aggravated robbery, when he was one of 3 teens accused of robbing and shooting 2 men with a BB gun, sending one of the victims to the hospital. During an interview, Payne claimed he was present with the two other teens, but had no part in the actual robbery. The DA agreed to ‘retire’ his case, as long as he went 6 months with no new arrests or citations, which he did – but his fingerprints were now on file.

Less than 2  months after that 6-month get-out-of-jail-free on two felonies deal was behind him, and couldn’t be revoked, Chaz Payne was found to be back in trouble, the police just weren’t aware of it yet.
