Teen uses fake ID to drink in downtown bars, smashes though 2nd Ave window after Travis Scott concert

18-year old Nicholas Vaughn Parmer is charged with using a false ID to obtain alcohol, underage consumption, and felony vandalism after he told police he used the fake ID to drink at Lonnie’s Western Room – Karaoke Bar & Piranhas Nashville, and had been at the Travis Scott concert, while they were arresting him for breaking the glass out of a 2nd ave storefront.

Metro Police say they responded to 217 2nd ave North on a burglary call. The owner of the closed business, but heard the security camera-enabled doorbell activate, and viewed live footage of Nicholas Parmer motioning into the camera for someone to let him in, then kicked the doors twice, shattering the glass and damaging the door frame. Parmer then walked off in the direction of the 21c Hotel. Police eventually encountered him stumbling, with a limp,  walking from the alley behind Grumpy’s Bail Bonds and detained him.

Parmer reportedly admitted to officers that he had been to the Travis Scott Concert, and drinking at Lonnie’s Western Room – Karaoke Bar & Piranhas Nashville, and was using a fake ID from South Carolina, which was in his pocket. Officers conducted a show-up with Parmer, and he was positively identified by the victim as the person who kicked through the door of his business. Police were also able to match the shoe print at the scene to the pair of shoes Parmer was wearing when he was arrested.

Nicholas Vaughn Parmer, 18, was arrested and charged with felony vandalism, underage consumption of alcohol, and using a false ID to obtain alcohol. He is free on a $10,000 bond, and scheduled to appear in court in April.
