35-year-old Susy Michiko Ishizu is free on a $1,500 cash bond, after she was booked on a domestic assault charge. Her husband says she punched him in the face with her fist, pulled his hair, and slapped him, when he didn’t get off the phone quick enough.
22-year Calvin Courter is held in a Nashville jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond, charged with aggravated assault. Police say he sucker punched a man at the downtown McDonald’s, kicked him while on the ground, rendering him unconscious, then continued to stomp on his head as people yelled ‘stop kicking him’ – as the victim laid on the ground, bleeding from his head, causing a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage.
Metro Nashville has now settled the claim of an 8-year-old that suffered a broken clavicle (collarbone) after being restrained by an Una Elementary School teacher, for $8,000 with the parent of the child.
