15-year-old arrested with gun in classroom at Pearl Cohn High; says bought it for $110

Metro Nashville Police today charged a 15-year-old 9th grader at Pearl Cohn High School with carrying a .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol loaded with two rounds on campus.

Metro School personnel notified MNPD School Resource officers that the teen was reported to be in possession of a weapon.  An administrator asked the student to step out of class into the hallway.  Officers then searched the student, locating the gun.  He said that he bought the gun on the street for $110 dollars. The 15-year-old was booked at Juvenile Detention.
