After 100’s of calls, ex-girlfriend scratches ‘my heart cannot take this damage’ onto his front door

22-year-old Morgan Lynn Jenkins was booked into a Nashville jail at 2:04 a.m. Sunday morning on outstanding warrants charging her with vandalism and harassment from a 2018 incident during which police say she called her ex-boyfriend more than 151 times in a single day, then scratched “my heart cannot take this damage” into his front door.

According to arrest warrants, Morgan Jenkins and her boyfriend (the victim) broke approximately 2 months before the July 2018 incident. Police confirm she continued to call him after the beak-up, as many as 151 in a single day. Eventually the victim received a phone call stating Morgan Jenkins was waiting for him at his apartment, and told him she was going to break into the residence and take the dogs that were inside. She also sent a text message that read:

“your shit is going to get broke”

The victim called police, who arrived to access the scene, however she had fled the location. The front window of the victim’s home was open, and the blinds damaged. On the door was a scratched with a heart drawing also scratched into the door. The text read:

“my heart cannot take this damage”

Morgan Jenkins was charged with harassment and vandalism. She is free on a $1,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
