21-year-old Anthony Preston Lowe remains jailed on a $30,000 bond today, charged with attempting to sell Xanax, methamphetamine, and marijuana on Bell Road in Antioch.

Metro Police say gang unit detectives observed ‘narcotic activity’ at the market at 469 Bell Road on Thursday, and approached and detained Lowe for questioning. When asked if he had any drugs on him, he reportedly replied he had “some bars.” A search of his person resulted in a baggie with 2 grams of marijuana and approximately 30 Xanax bars, along with .5 grams of methamphetamine. Detectives also seized over $200 of U.S. currency in mostly twenty-dollar bills. Two subjects outside the store told detectives Lowe attempted to sell them drugs, police say.
