Impostor ‘massage therapist / manscaper’ arrested at Bellevue’s ‘Lavish Lounge’

37-year-old Angelica Lashae Elliott was arrested by Metro Police Friday, after they replied to her ‘Manscaping and massage services’ ad on a website called ‘RubRatings’. She is charged with  impersonation of a licensed professional, and operating without a massage license. Elliott is free on a $1500 bond.

Metro Police say they located the ad in the ‘Body Rubs’ section of the website, and contacted the listed phone number to make an appointment. The undercover detective was given a 30 minute massage appointment to take place at 179 Belle Forrest Circle, Suite 101B, known as Lavish Lounge, in Bellevue.

The undercover detective arrived and was instructed to undress and lie face down on the massage table, and a massage was conducted on the back, neck, arms, leg, and head, for which they paid $40 cash. The female performing the massage was identified as Angelica Lashae Elliott, who was confirmed by the Tennessee Massage Board to not be licensed in the state. The board also advised that ‘Lavish Lounge’ also does not hold an establishment license with the state.

Elliott was charged with  impersonation of a licensed professional, and operating without a massage license. Elliott is free on a $1500 bond.
