Metro Police were dispatched to the Bridgestone Arena at 8:35 p.m. Monday night, in response to off-duty officers working the KISS concert detaining a woman for domestic assault.
Upon contact with the woman, identified as 45-year-old Erin A. Savage, police say she admitted to open-hand slapping her boyfriend of 18 months during a verbal argument at the arena, at which time off-duty officers detained her. The victim told police he was slapped, but did not wish to prosecute, and had no visible injuries, however police prosecuted on his behalf.
Erin Savage was charged with domestic assault, and booked into the Davidson County jail at 9:27 p.m., with a $100 bond and a 12-hour required domestic violence hold. She posted a $100 cash bond and was in the process of being released at the time of publication.
