24-year-old Matthew Blake Rischbeck is jailed on a $102,500 bond covering 11 charges, after police found him in the parking lot of a Goodlettsville hotel with an array of guns, drugs, and counterfeit cash at 1:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Goodlettsville police say a terry stop was conducted on a vehicle in the parking lot of the Baymont Inn on Northcreek Boulevard, by Officer Scannel, Officer Parks, Sgt. Hancock, and Cpl. Waldron. They report an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and conducted a search of the vehicle, of which Matthew Rischbeck was driving.

Inside the vehicle, officers found:

  • RI Arms .45 pistol (loaded) between passenger seat and center console
  • S&W M&P Shield 9 mm (loaded) in the driver’s floorboard
  • Master Piece Arms 9 mm TEC-9, with 2 ‘large loaded magazines’ wedged  between seats for ‘easy access’
  • 27.5 grams of heroin (Rischbeck’s waistband)
  • 2.3 grams methamphetamine (Rischbeck’s pocket)
  • 56 x $20 bills, 1 x $50 bill, 2 x $10 bills (Rischbeck’s pocket)
  • 8 Xanax pills (glove box)
  • 4.2 grams marijuana (glove box)
  • digital scale with residue
  • 13 x $100 bills in driver’s door pocket

Rischbeck was read his rights, and police say he stated all the guns and drugs belonged to him, and that the drugs were given to him up front, and he is responsible for payment back to the person in a certain amount of time. Officers note Rischbeck has an active OOP against him, and is a convicted felon, both of which prevent him possessing firearms.  Once the property was being processed, it was determined the 13 $100 bills were counterfeit, with identical serial numbers and missing a hologram.

Rischbeck is charged with forgery, theft of property x2 for the stolen firearms, possession w/intent of heroin (15-49 grams), possession, possession w/intent of a SCH I, possession w/intent of a SCH IV, paraphernalia, felon in possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon with an order of protection, and possession of a weapon during a felony drug offense
