Metro Nashville Police Officers assigned to Hunters Lane High School today arrested a 17-year-old junior for carrying a Glock 9 millimeter semi-automatic pistol loaded with 5 bullets on campus.

Another student saw the gun and called his parent, who in turn notified the school administration.  Officers found the gun in a fanny pack.  The teenager refused to say where he got the pistol.  In addition to being charged with carrying a gun on school property, he is being charged with aggravated assault for displaying the firearm to another student during an argument.
