Woman punches ex-girlfriend’s face and vehicle, returns to scene wearing fanny pack smelling of weed

25-year-old Brianna Lee was arrested late Tuesday night, after Metro Police say she drove back by the scene of the crime, where officers were taking a report of her having assaulted her ex-girlfriend, and vandalizing her car.

Metro Nashville Police say they responded to an assault call Tuesday night on 10th Avenue South and spoke with the victim who stated she and her ex-girlfriend were in a verbal altercation that became physical.  The victim had visible bruising and swelling to her left eye from the assault. Witnesses who observed the altercation told police the assailant also struck the victim’s vehicle with her own, and then kicked and punched the victim’s vehicle.

While police were on the scene, the ex-girlfriend, Brianna Lee,  drove by to observe what was happening. The victim identified her to officers, who conducted a traffic stop near 8th Avenue South. when Lee stepped out of the vehicle, officer report an obvious odor of marijuana coming from a fanny pack, which was around her waist. A search of her vehicle resulted in the seizure of silver marijuana grinder, a bag of marijuana, and a Xanax pill, all of which Lee claimed ownership of.

The victim did not wish to prosecute, however due to the injuries and witness, officers prosecuted on her behalf. Briana Lee (Jamison-Lee), 25, was charged with domestic assault, vandalism over $1,000, drug possession, possession without a prescription, and paraphernalia charges, and is free on a $6,000 bond.
