Alice Forsythe was arrested Tuesday on multiple warrants, including thefts from T.J. Maxx in Bellevue.

52-year-old Alice Forsythe was taken into custody Tuesday for a number of warrants she had accumulated before going to rehab, where she chose to stay for an extended period of time, delaying her arrest. Some of those included thefts from the Bellevue T.J. Maxx store.

Police say she stole from the store on at least two occasions, to include December and January. In December, she entered the Bellevue location, selected several purses, jewelry box sets, perfumes, and a wrist watch. She then dashed past all points of sale and fled the store with $1,133 in merchandise. In January, she hit the same store, selecting several watches, fragrances, and clothing items before dashing past the points of sale and exiting with $670 in merchandise.

In both cases, store personnel was able to capture the license plate number of the BMW290 she fled in, and in February a photo line up was conducted, where she was positively identified. In addition to the theft of merchandise warrants, she was charged with 3 failure to book citations, and 4 capias warrants for general sessions court cases. She remains jailed in lieu of a $12,600 bond. Forsythe was on the West Precinct’s Top 10 most wanted list at the time of her arrest.
