28-year-old Blake Henderson Dunn was arrested on Saturday on Percy Priest Lake, after a TWRA officer says he admitted to smoking marijuana while operating a vessel, and for possession of two joints on the boat.

TWRA Officer Brad Bagwell was patrolling Percy Priest Lake on Saturday when he observed a green and white jet boat displaying an expired registration from 2017. While issuing the vessel operator, Blake Dunn, a citation, he noticed he “seemed slow and his eyes were bloodshot” according to an arrest warrant. Bagwell then reports smelling marijuana and asking Dunn about the smell coming from his vessel.

Blake Dunn then produced a dry box from under the passenger seat which contained 2 marijuana joints and one electronic CBD pipe. The arrest report notes Dunn admitted to smoking marijuana before he was stopped on the water. He was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, and charged with BUI (Boating Under the Influence), implied consent law, and drug possession. He is free on pre-trial release.
